Description:
The XL74610 ideal diode module uses the LM74610 dedicated chip to simulate the ideal diode rectifier. The unique advantage of this mechanism is that it does not use grounding as a reference and uses a low internal resistance MOS of about 3.3m omega. When operating at high currents, the voltage drop is small, avoiding the high voltage drop of 0.7V for ordinary diodes. The reduction in voltage drop also greatly reduces heating. When a 0.3V Schottky operates at a 10A current, the heating power consumption is 3W. In actual measurements, the XL74610 ideal diode operates at a 10A current, with a voltage drop of about 50mV and a heating power consumption of about 0.5W.
