The shape of the AT-ER500 is the shape of a shaft and umbrella, similar to general silicone earpieces, but the texture is different from silicone and existing thermoplastic elastomer systems. First of all, it is harder than those at room temperature, and you can feel its hardness when you put it in your ear and immediately after putting it in. The new feeling is that it feels firmer than before and disappears after a while in the ear.
The change that stands out particularly well in combination with the ATH-TWX9 is on the high range side. While softening the feel of the sound slightly, it does not impair the clarity of the sound image and localization, but even enhances it. Changes on the bass side were felt more strongly in the ATH-CKS50TW. In the Robert Glasper Experiment “Human,” which includes everything from ultra-low to low frequencies, the sense of volume of bass and bass drums first increased dramatically. What's important is from here, and that bass doesn't become so saturated. This change should only resonate with fans of deep bass phones!
