Waterproofing is achieved by applying a polyurethane (PU) impregnation to the underside, which can withstand a water column of 800 to 1000 mm. The thin polyurethane film applied hot to the reverse side of the fabric is safe and therefore also suitable for sportswear and children's clothing.
