This system notebook is carefully made using the finest genuine leather and the reliable skills of craftsmen.
Himeji tanners (craftsmen who finish leather from skin to leather) tanned Japanese steerhide (adult cow) twice with full tanning, and it is a heavy leather that is soaked with plenty of oil and wax.
Because the leather is thick, it takes 1.5 times longer to finish than normal tanning. Therefore, polishing brings out the oil in the leather, giving it a jewel-like luster.
It comes with padded leather that won't leave ring marks on the surface, and a movable pen holder that can be adjusted to fit your pen, from approximately 14 mm in diameter to thin pens.
